These twin-songs originate from the collaboration with the Brazilian musician and sound-brander Zanna. Almost-Italians describes the restricted mobilities of people who were born in Italy from non-Italian parents. Luna and Simão instead tells the story of the forced mobilities that the Atlantic slave trade operated by several European countries imposed on Africans, who were brought to Latin America in captivity.
